Lech Lecha

In the Medrash (see above) Avram saw a building that was all lit up (he realised that HaShem was controlling the world
In the name of the Chidushei Harim the word דולקת lit up is connected to the word chasing, (Yaakov said to Lavan why were you chasing me דלקת)
This means that Avram realised that the entire world was drawn after one point
The idea is mentioned in the Zohar as above, that every single thing, it’s sustenance is the nullification and connection of itself to the thing above it. (And the thing above it) until everything leads to the one true point which is HaShem that sustains everything
And this is the point that Avraham wanted to see, how this point sustained everything without them being disconnected from the source even though they were in this world. (He wanted to see how in spite of the distance that each thing is in its low level of physicality it is nevertheless receiving it’s life force directly from HaShem).
And the way Avraham merited to see this was through nullifying himself to the commandment of Lech Lecha, leaving everything (as above leaving all understanding behind).
And so too now on Shabbos, when everyone stops and disregards all the goings on of the days of the week, and accepts the yoke of heaven. Which is the idea of Shabbos, to stop everything big or small
Through the stopping and nullification of one’s desire to something greater it all becomes revealed, as it says “Listen my daughter and see”, “For the name of HaShem will be called upon you etc (Devarim 28:10)”.
