So shmot means names.
There is the idea of what names represent. In terms of concept it is the essence of the thing.
Why is it plural?
Midrash compared to stars. That HaShem calls the stars by names. So the significance of stars. Shining in the dark. Lighten up the night.
It is the beginning of the galut. So I need to know the connection between names and galut.

Galut is the same as gilui revealed. HaShem becomes more revealed.
