The Sefat Emet explains that the command to give an offering is not merely material. And this point assists the Children of Israel in every heartfelt desire, as it is written: “Everyone whose heart moves him shall surely bring the offering of the Lord,” as mentioned above.

This inner divine point empowers any sincere desire to serve God. When a person’s heart is moved, the Shekhinah within supports the act, ensuring that the offering is brought willingly and wholeheartedly. The Sefat Emet highlights that generosity arises from awakening this inner point.

The passage teaches that offerings flow from the inner divine presence carried by Israel. The Shekhinah energizes sincere desire, enabling each person to contribute wholeheartedly.
