Sanctifying Action Through Mishkan
בפסוק ותכל כו' ויעשו בני ישראל ככל אשר צוה ה' כו'.

כי נתקן בעבודת המשכן כל המעשים הנמצאים בעולם.
“For through the service of the Mishkan, all actions found in the world were repaired.”

ונק' משכן העדות שביררו בנ"י במעשה זו כי כל הבריאה של הקב"ה.
“It is called the ‘Mishkan of Testimony’ because through this act the Israelites clarified that all creation belongs to the Holy One.”
The Mishkan testifies that the world is God’s creation, revealed through Israel’s sanctified craftsmanship.
וכמו במעשה בראשית הי' מאמר על כל דבר וירא אלקים כי טוב ואח"כ בכלל וירא כו' כל אשר עשה כו' טוב מאוד ויכל כו' ויברך כו'.
“And just as in Creation, there was a divine utterance for each thing—‘And God saw that it was good’—and afterward in general, ‘And God saw all that He had made… it was very good,’ and then: ‘He completed… and blessed…’”
The Sefat Emet draws a structural parallel between the stages of Creation and those of the Mishkan: detailed evaluations followed by a holistic completion and blessing.
כמו כן במשכן בכל פרט כאשר צוה כו' ואח"כ ותכל כו' וירא משה כו' והנה עשו כו' כאשר צוה כו' ויברך אותם כו'.
“So too with the Mishkan: in every detail, ‘as He commanded…,’ and afterward, ‘And it was completed,’ and ‘Moses saw… and behold, they had done… as He commanded,’ and he blessed them.”
Here, the Mishkan reenacts the pattern of Creation, expressing divine approval and blessing through Moses.
רק שהי' עתה תיקון הבריאה מצד שמיוחד לבנ"י בפרט.
“Only now the repair of creation was from a dimension unique to the Children of Israel.”
This rectification is distinct: it arises from Israel’s unique spiritual capacity and covenantal role.
לכן נעשה הכל ע"י משה.
“Therefore everything was done through Moses.”
Moses acts as the conduit enabling Israel to channel their sanctity into the world’s repair.
ובזוה"ק ע"פ מה רב טובך כי הקדוש ב"ה גנז אור הראשון תוך מעשה בראשית כמ"ש בכל דבר וירא כי טוב.
“And in the Zohar on the verse ‘How great is Your goodness,’ the Holy One hid the primordial light within Creation, as it says for each thing: ‘And He saw that it was good.’”
The goodness identified in Creation is the veiled primordial light that sustains existence.
והפי' כי השגחת השי"ת הוא רק על הטוב כי לא יגורך רע כתיב.
“The explanation: God’s providence rests only upon good, for it is written, ‘Evil does not abide with You.’”
Divine attention connects to the good inherent within creation; evil cannot attach to God.
והפי' כי בוודאי סוף כל דבר מביא טוב.
“And this means that surely the end of every matter brings good.”
Ultimately, all processes lead to goodness, even if not immediately visible.
וצדיק זוכה לטוב בהתגלות כמ"ש אמרו צדיק כי טוב כו'.
“And the righteous merit revealed goodness, as it says: ‘Say of the righteous that it is good.’”
The righteous experience and perceive the goodness embedded in creation.
ולרשע נגמר הטובה שלא בטובתו בעולם הזה או בעולם הבא.
“But for the wicked, the goodness is completed not for their benefit—whether in this world or the next.”
The wicked do not enjoy the goodness they participate in generating; the good emerges despite—not for—them.
אבל קיום כל הבריאה על ידי הטוב הנמצא בו.
“Yet the existence of all creation depends on the goodness within it.”
Goodness is the sustaining force of the universe.
ועל ידי מעשה המשכן ביררו בני ישראל הטוב שבעשי'.
“And through the work of the Mishkan, Israel clarified the goodness within action.”
The Mishkan reveals the inner goodness buried in human deeds.
וממנו נעשה המשכן ועי"ז תקנו כל העשי'.
“From that goodness the Mishkan was made, and through this they repaired all action.”
The Mishkan becomes a vessel constructed out of distilled goodness, rectifying the entire realm of action.
וז"ש ותכל כו' ויעשו בני ישראל שע"י המשכן נתקנו כל בחי' העשי' להיות כאשר צוה ה'.
“Thus the verse: ‘And it was completed… and the Children of Israel did,’ for through the Mishkan all dimensions of action were repaired to be ‘as God commanded.’”
