The book of Exodus concludes with a full accounting of the gold, silver, and copper contributed for the Mishkan and how each was used. The priestly garments are completed, and all the work is brought before Moses, who sees that it was done exactly as God had commanded and blesses the people. On the first of Nissan Moses erects the Mishkan, sets each vessel in its place, and anoints it. The cloud of glory then descends and fills the Sanctuary, guiding Israel's journeys throughout the wilderness.
