“How many good levels… it would have been enough…”

He explains that each and every miracle the Creator, blessed be He, performed for us is itself sufficient to incline our hearts toward Him.

This means that every single miracle the Creator did for us is worthy in itself to turn our hearts toward Him.

Each divine act is a complete reason for renewed attachment and gratitude, without needing accumulation.

How much more so when there are many—double and multiplied goodness.

When miracles come in succession, their impact compounds, awakening even deeper recognition.

This means that God places miracles for us at every level, and all of them are counsel meant to help incline our hearts toward Him.

The miracles are not merely interventions but spiritual guidance planted throughout the stages of life and growth.

And it is written in the books that these fifteen levels include all the changes that occur in the shifts of spiritual levels until completeness.

The “fifteen steps” of Dayyenu mirror a universal structure of ascent, encompassing every transformational stage on the path to wholeness.

Just as there are fifteen stages in the moon’s increase during its renewal.

The lunar cycle embodies the same pattern of gradual elevation, illuminating the inner process of rising step by step.

See Maharal, Gevurot Hashem.

He alludes to the Maharal’s discussion, where these structural parallels are elaborated.

Summary: Each miracle is a complete reason to draw close to God; the fifteen stages of Dayyenu reflect a universal pattern of ascending spiritual levels, parallel to the moon’s fifteen steps of renewal.
