Toldot 3 תרל”א

ברש”י ז”ל ויתן לך יתן ויחזור ויתן. ואין מובן.
Yitzchak’s blessing to Yaakov starts with the words ‘And He shall give you’ Rashi explains that this means HaShem should give you and then give you again. What is the meaning of this statement, why the repetition?
וי”ל כי רצון הש”י בהשפעתו כדי להעלות מזה נ”ר להש”י ע”י שיוכל האדם לעבוד אותו כשיהי’ לו צרכיו.
The idea here is that HaShem’s will when giving a person blessing is that the person uses this to uplift it and give pleasantness to HaShem.
ובפרט השפעה בעבודתו ית’ בעצמו.
This is especially true when HaShem blesses someone in the person’s service of HaShem.That the person should use it to cause more pleasantness to HaShem.
וכשהאדם עושה רצונו חוזרת ההשפעה להש”י ומביא התחדשות.
And when a person does that will of HaShem what this causes is a cycle of HaShem blessing him even more, and this is the renewal that we experience.
וז”ש יתן ויחזור ויתן
This is the meaning of the double giving in Yitzchak’s blessing. That he should give you and give you again (through a person utilising it properly)
כענין שכ’ במדרש ויאמר משה לה’. משל ים שנשפך לגומא שאצלו. שאז הי’ זה נותן לזה וזה לזה.
We find the same concept by Moshe, ‘Moshe said to HaShem’. The Medrash compares this to a sea that spills water into a hole, and they each give to one another.
ומרע”ה הוא כללות ישראל
And this was applicable to Moshe Rabeinu who contains all of Yisrael
וזה ההפרש בין ישראל לאומות כי הלא כל השפעות התחלתן הוא מטל השמים. רק שלבסוף נתלבשו בטבע גשמיות ונתקלקל אצל האומות עוע”ג. (עובדי עבודת גילולים)
This is the difference between Bnei Yisrael and the Nations of the world. For all blessing from above begins with the dew of heaven. However once it comes down into the world of physicality it becomes ruined by the nations of the world.
אבל בנ”י מחזירין תמיד הכל להשורש ויתן ויחזור ויתן כנ”ל.
However Bnei Yisrael take the blessing and reuse it in service of HaShem. Therefore HaShem gives them again and again.
דכ’ אין כל חדש תחת השמש. אבל בנ”י שמעלין הכל להשורש שהוא למעלה מהשמש מביאין התחדשות תמיד [כמ”ש החודש הזה לכם] כנ”ל:
For even though it says ‘there is nothing new under the sun’ that does not apply to Bnei Yisrael who take everything and reconnect it to its source which is above the sun, they will experience a constant source of renewal. [As it says the new month is yours, the idea of renewal is in our hands] as above.
